Hmmm...what's new in the lives of Bugg and Bean?

We had a wonderful Christmas and New Years filled with fun, food and family.

We are working hard on the potty training with Lili

Lili got a new bedroom set from IKEA that we will be setting up soon

Bean has no gender but is very active and crazy

We find out the gender at a 3D/4D ultrasound on January 24th at 2 pm so I will let everyone know:)

So far this pregnancy is going pretty well. My doctor has decided to keep me on the Unisom and Premesis since it is working and I'm very grateful for that. My weight is yo yoing at the moment but I guess it will eventually stop and I'll just gain and not lose. I got sick right before Christmas and didn't eat anything for 2 days which took a toll on me. I'm having a hard time remembering to eat when I'm hungry and not just waiting until meal times because by then I'm to icky feeling to eat very much and then makes me get very sleepy from the blood sugar spike. No sodium issues as of yet which is great and at the ultrasound the bean was head down which I pray stays that way so I can forgo the csection route this time.

Lili has been telling me that the baby is in my tummy and that it's going to nursing and then smacks my tatats. I don't think we will have any jealousy issues with the nursing which is good. She's over it...I guess getting pregnant is the best way to wean without drama:) She is however NOT planning on getting rid of her binky anytime "shoon". She tells me she NEEDS it and gives me a ton of drama so we are letting her keep it for now. Weaning from me, potty training and getting moved into her room is trauma enough I think. We'll worry about the binky later. She told me she loves the baby...right before she smacked me in the stomach. I've been watching her with her baby dolls and I'm slightly worried:) She likes to haul them around by their necks. I do have the strangest child though. She doesn't play like a normal little one. She is playing house and having conversations with her babies. She cleans her little house area and puts her babies to sleep and takes them for walks and feeds them. She also goes shopping and knows how to use a credit card and she has conversations on her cellphone with "Selly" while her sunglasses are pushed up on top of her head. She is a little mini me. She has taken to calling Josh honey when she's talking to him which just about makes us pee on ourselves. Lastnight I asked her what she was doing and with an exasperated sigh she told in a very slow way(because I'm a moron who doesn't understand things) " put my jatet in the hallway" and then she just rolled her eyes and walked off. She is also now fond of telling me no, hang on, I'm coming and today while I was getting on to her she told me "Mommy I'm not happy!" She also tells fibs about Emma the dog. On vacation while eating dinner she got this shocked look on her face and said "Mommy Emma bite me" to which I answered "No she did not" so the little beast put her arm beside her, yelped and told Emma "No No emma no bite!" Emma was just sitting there wondering what in the world was going on. She is Miss Bossy pants now and will tell you that you need to sit down, dance, play the drums or piano, or go to bed(Emma). She likes to tell the daycare kiddos when they are done with lunch and will just clean up their plates for them...sometimes they aren't done though. Life with Lili is never calm:) When the new baby get's here Lili is going to go to gymnastics so she has something special for just her and I to do. Ok I'm tired and hungry so I'm done:) I'll start blogging more I promise:)

That would be me. I took my medicine for the morning sickness at 11 pm lastnight and I'm still not quite with it.

I'm pretty sure that the little sprout get's high off my sleeping pill(just an antihistamine called Unisom that let's the vitamin work it's magic:)). After I took it lastnight the little bean went beserk. Bouncing all over the place and pinging off my uteran walls. Sorry guys:) I'm starting to feel slight movements on the outside so it will just be a matter of days until Lili and Josh can feel. Next week is the big ultrasound and hopefully the little bean will cooperate unlike Miss Grace...if not it's ok because we are planning on doing the 3d ultrasound in January after vacation. It would be nice though if it cooperates to be able to tell all the family while on vacation. We are being sassy this time and not telling anyone the final name decision:)

 I weighed myself yesterday and I'm down to 146 which is a 12 lb  loss since September but I think I'll start gaining now that I'm actually starting to get hungry. I think I might have a bit of a stomach bug though right now which would be bad. 2 1/2 hours after eating dinner lastnight I got a horrible headache and started getting flushed and only made it 3 feet before projectile vomiting all over the dirty laundry pile in the kitchen doorway. My poor husband just steered me towards the bathroom once I stopped convulsing and had me finish in there while he cleaned up the mess...the really gross part is what he said though. While I was heaving over the toilet he tells me "I think you might have a bug...this smells like sick vomit not your normal morning sickness" It was so gross but hilarious and we realized he has to clean up my puke to much. I'm feeling better just a bit queasy today so hopefully it will pass quickly.

Lili has been uber crazy and sassy lately. She is using more and more sentences every day with 4-5 words in them. Her favorites at the moment are "I need to see it" and I'm just lookting otay mommy". She's also starting to tell you what people are doing..."Poppys sleeping" "Mommys eating her pickles" "dranmas cleaning the floor". Cracks us up. The other night she turned on the tv and PS2 and then messed with the controller until a game started and then attempted to play football...she got her butt kicked but we had fun watching her. Everytime a player would fall she would squeal and say "Oh they fall down...ouch you kiss". Sometimes she's still a bit unclear in her ramblings but mostly everything is clear...she's not even 2 so I'm quite proud of my teensy genius:) We are working on colors right now and her favorites are green and pink and she is stuck on numbers. Especially the numbers 5 8 and 9. You can ask her how old she is and she will tell you she is 8 and then 5 and then finally 9 and we tell her she's 1 and she says "Oh I'm 1". Weirdo!

She's really working hard at the potty training and last night while my parents were watching her she told them she needed to pee and then told poppy to come on. She peed in the potty and my mom told her she was proud and Lili beamed and turned to poppy and said "Poppy are you proud?" I love my girl:) She won't do the potty chair which is fine but it means running around naked and her peeing on the kitchen floor. She has started stripping the minute we walk in teh door and will only get dressed if I chase her and pin her down. Lastnight we got inside and she immediately shed her hat, jacket and gloves and then took off her pants. I just told her she was very much her daddy's daughter:)We are fighting right now because she keeps jumping off the couch that she is supposed to be napping on. She'll fight for a few minutes and then just pass out. We are working on not rocking to sleep all the time. She's doing well with the naps but not so well with night time. Last night she just refused to sleep and Josh finally gave up at 11:45 and Lili slept with us. She's been weird lately and will just not go to bed at night. She'll just sit there and laugh to keep herself awake or think of a million things she "needs"...Binky, blanket, the chair, the dog, her milk etc...Josh makes me take my medicine at 8:30 which is when she is laying down so he's the poor guy that's been dealing with it. She's wiggling her butt right now to stay awake. She's so tired but is refusing to give in. Ok I'm going to have to attack her so I'll end this...I'll put up pics from our trip to the three domes and some random lili pics later:)
